Ofsted visited us on 17th – 18th March 2016. The inspectors were very positive about our school and this is reflected in the report which has categorised us as ‘Good’ overall.
There are many highlights to the report, one being the behaviour of the children which was graded as ‘outstanding’. The report states that in lessons and at play the children conducted themselves in an exemplary way displaying ‘admirable’ self-discipline. Welcome to Westfields Infant School
Letter from our Headteacher
Westfields Infant School is a happy school where staff, parents and governors work closely together to give children the best possible introduction to their education.
Our aim is for children to experience the joy of learning, enabling them to develop personally, socially and academically, providing them with a firm foundation for friendships and learning throughout life.
At Westfields we believe that we provide the right environment to encourage all children to enjoy their learning and achieve their best.
For prospective parents, I understand that choosing the right school for your child is an important and often difficult task. Confidence in a school comes from knowing and understanding what is happening within it. I warmly invite you to visit us so that you can see and experience Westfields and know that it is the right school for your child.
